Centering Prayer at the Cathedral of the Incarnation in Baltimore. Join the Bishop of Maryland, the Rt. Rev. Eugene Taylor Sutton, each Tuesday afternoon as he teaches on Christian spirituality and leads us in centering prayer. Spend time meditating on the Scriptures and share the sacred meal of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist at 12:15, and then stay if you can to experience a way of contemplation that moves you beyond thoughts, words and emotions into a quiet communion with God. You may attend either the Eucharist or the centering prayer time or both; together they provide a refreshing midday break for the soul.
