Supply Clergy List for the Diocese of Maryland
The following people have indicated to the Ministry Office that they are available for supply. Others may also be available. Please call the Diocesan Ministry Office or email the Rev. Canon Stuart Wright after hiring a supply cleric so we can adjust the list.
Arrangements are to be negotiated between the cleric and the congregation, based on the compensation guidelines passed at Annual Convention.
Note: In order to be listed on the Supply Clergy List, clergy must have a certificate on file in the Ministry Office that documents their completion of both parts of the Sexual Misconduct Prevention Training program.
Please consult these Licensing Requirements for Clergy in the Diocese of Maryland prior to calling clergy who are not cannonically resident in our diocese or listed below.
Attention Supply Clergy
In order to keep the Diocesan Supply List current, for those who are currently on this list but have a “rather long term employment” in a parish, please let the Transitions Office know so that your name may be removed. If you wish to be on the Supply List, please let the Transitions Office know and if you are not canonically resident, please following the instructions for licensing above. Clergy should also contact the Transitions Office when hiring supply or “assisting” clergy who are not canonically resident to insure that the cleric is licensed in the diocese.
